There are lots of fantastic reasons why your school should come along and enjoy the very best of children’s theatre at TakeOff Festival. Here are just a few of them

We know how busy teachers are and how difficult it can be to arrange trips out of school, so we like to make life as easy as possible to attend TakeOff Festival. We will;-

  • Arrange return travel from your nursery to the venue
  • Meet and greet you from the bus
  • Provide a risk assessment for your visit
  • Organise packed lunch areas or other activities to extend your visit

Don’t forget – teachers and accompanying adults go free (in line with recommended ratios).

Our shows are specifically targeted to meet the learning and developmental needs of your children. Many offer learning resources with themed links to the curriculum.

Take Part in Free Arts Award

By taking part in TakeOff Festival, your young people can achieve a FREE Arts Award at Discover Level.
Arts Award Discover is an introductory award. To achieve it, children and young people need to discover the arts around them, find out about artists and their work and share their experiences with others. They will be awarded a certificate from Trinity College London. More information can be found at www.artsaward.org.uk

We are working in partnership with Culture Bridge North East to deliver this award www.culturebridgenortheast.org.uk
